Interior
Urban interior style in black color tone well matches this premium SUV, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The ‘LED Blackface Instrument Cluster’ with jade-green readout, which goes well with the overall background in black, facilitates safe driving. The power & tilt steering, ticket holder, pop-out cup holder and extendable sunvisors ensure maximum convenience for the driver.

The driver-centered instrument is ultra convenient for the driver. The Rexton II consistently delivers the greatest output ever and its growing fame is the natural result of superiority. The newly-developed XDi270 XVT engine cranks out a hefty 186ps and wide-ranging torque for responsive acceleration. Yet despite all that power and pull, the XVT employs advanced technologies to produce a surprisingly smooth, quiet, and fuel-efficient ride. Matched with the T-Tronic 5-speed automatic transmission with Thumbs Up manual shift mode, the XDi270 XVT achieves even higher levels of performance and economy. In addition, the newly introduced technology, the permanent AWD system distributes constantly to all four tyres for quick acceleration and great responsiveness with its multifunction Electronic Stability Programme(ESP).

Safety
In order to protect the vehicle and the passengers from unexpected dangers, SsangYong has equipped the vehicle with advanced safety system based on the solid body structure. This was made possible by expanding the brake size to fit the 186ps, highly efficient engine, by applying quick response type booster.

For active safety, Rexton II offers ESP (Electronic Stability Program) that combines an electronic brake-force distribution ABS (Antilock Brake System), BAS (Brake Assist System), FTCS (Full Traction Control System), HDC(Hill Descent Control) and ARP (Active Rollover Protection) advanced safety systems. This system that controls the brakes by braking power, driving power and steering device, reduces the gap between the desired direction and the actual direction of the vehicle, and thus helps maintain the normal condition of the vehicle and drive safely on a road under any condition.

For passive safety, an ultra-rigid frame construction gives the Rexton II the added stiffness and endurance to absorb any road surface impact, while minimizing noise and vibration. ‘Door Impact Beams’, ‘Dual & Side Airbags’ in driver and passenger seats in 1st row are employed to secure the protection in the event from unexpected dangers. All these safety equipments and functions are also to satisfy European standard level of safety regulation.

Security & Convenience
To ensure security of passengers and their belongings, the Rexton II features upgraded and improved anti-theft systems including an immobilizer, remote keyless entry systems and so on. ‘Rexton II’, which makes a perfect picture both in the urban and rural settings, provides optimal convenience for the driver as well as the passengers. The seats in human body-oriented design are most comfortable for the passengers while the heated front seat (five different temperature set), tilting head rest as well as the memory seat function on the driver seat make it possible to ensure comfort and the easy, one-touch seat adjusting for the driver. In particular, the driver’s seat automatically lowers and slides rearward when the key is removed from the ignition and it returns to its preset position once the key is reinserted in the ignition(EZ Access mode). The rain sensing wipers, wiper deicer, auto light control, electro-chromic mirror, auto-foldable outside mirrors add to convenience for the driver.

In addition, various consoles, pockets and cup holders, trunk space, battery management system, parking brake warning signal (which sounds warning when running with the parking brake on), rear mud guards, etc. are but some of the evidence of careful design.
